Jo Ann Stevenson

Jo Ann Stevenson, a beloved member of our community, passed away peacefully at her home in Hartford on June 3, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on July 12, 1950, in Beaver Dam, Jo Ann was the cherished daughter of Robert Lee and Frances Griffen, who have now welcomed her home.

Jo Ann was a warm-hearted housewife and a devoted mom who poured her love into her family. She had a knack for cross stitching and adored immersing herself in arts and crafts. Her passion for reading filled her days with adventures and discoveries. As an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Jo Ann's kindness and spirit of community shone brightly until her health started to decline.

Jo Ann leaves behind her four loving sons: Ed Stevenson (Judy), Mark Stevenson, Dan Skinner, and Robert Unterborn (Kathleen). She was also a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and her legacy will continue to be cherished by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jo Ann is reunited in spirit with her late husband, David Stevenson, and several siblings who preceded her in death, creating a beautiful reunion in the next life.

Cremation has been chosen in lieu of burial, honoring Jo Ann's wishes. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together and share their favorite memories of Jo Ann. We invite everyone to join in this tribute to her beautiful spirit.
