Juanita Coppage

February 28, 1927 — June 15, 2018

Juanita Faye Coppage, 91, of Hartford, passed away on June 15, 2018, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on Feb. 28, 1927, in Ohio County to the late George Arvin Hoover and Josephine Helm Hoover. Juanita was a hairdresser and ran her own beauty shop called Juanita's Beauty Shop. She was a member of Hartford Christian Church, Beda Homemakers, Peace Makers Quilting Guild and served as past President of the Rough River Travelers. Including her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hugh "Bob" Coppage in 1995, and her brothers G.A. Hoover Jr. and Darrell Thomas "Tommy" Hoover. She is survived by her three sons, Robert L. "Robby" (Charlotte) Coppage and Hugh (Martha) Coppage both of Hartford and Joey (Pam) Coppage of TN.; a daughter, Sheri Coppage (Ron) Coots of Hartford; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a sister Angela Rae Hudson of Hartford; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Hartford Christian Church. Burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Coppage will welcome family and friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Miller Schapmire Funeral Home, and after 10 a.m. Monday at the Church. In Lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Hospice of Ohio County, 107 Gillespie St, Hartford, KY 42347. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Miller Schapmire Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Coppage.
