Juanita Schroader

Juanita Shocklee Schroader, age 75 of Hopkinsville, formerly of Hartford, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 in Hopkinsville. She was born October 6, 1945 in Whitesville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Samuel G. and Anna Catherine Lloyd Shocklee. Nita enjoyed collecting Elvis memorabilia, coloring and holding her baby dolls. She attended Hartford Apostolic Church. She is survived by her sisters, Joyce Schroader (Kenneth), Reba Crump (Jeff), and Martha Patterson (Don), several nieces and nephews also survive. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell Dale, L.G. and Lyndal Shocklee. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Miller Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, Kentucky. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Schroader.
