Leticia "Tish" Jackson, 60, of Rockport, KY, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, at her beloved home, surrounded by love and cherished memories. Born on May 27, 1966, in East Chicago, IN, Leticia was the devoted daughter of Sue Carol Young Harris and the loving wife of Randall Jackson for 46 wonderful years. A passionate art teacher at the Ohio County Christian Center, Leticia touched the lives of many through her creativity and kindness, inspiring generations of young minds. Her love for crafts and cake decorating brought joy not only to her students but also to her family and friends, creating countless treasured memories shared over lovingly crafted treats.
Leticia attended Lone Star General Baptist Church, where her warm spirit and compassion were felt by all who knew her. She was a beacon of hope and comfort in her community, always ready with a listening ear and a helping hand.
Leticia's legacy lives on through her beloved daughters, Tasha Wallace and Chris, Leticia's "Son-in-law," Kayla Jackson; her cherished son, Benjamin Jackson; and her adoring grandchildren, Hunter Wallace, Briar McCowan, Keyona McCowan, and Dixie Wallace. She is also survived by her sister, Deborah Harris, who shared many joyous moments with her throughout their lives.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM at Hartford Funeral Home, where the profound impact Leticia had on all will be reflected in the love that surrounds her. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, celebrating a life filled with love and art. Leticia will be laid to rest at the Jackson Cemetery, where her spirit will peacefully continue to inspire.
