Martha E. Aubrey

Martha E. Aubrey, 80, formerly of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, in Greenville, KY.

Martha was born November 15, 1943, to the late Robert and Hattie Hendricks in Knotsville, Kentucky. She married Franklin D. Aubrey Sr. Martha made her house a home and raised 5 children, Eva, Patricia Tina, Ronnie and Donnie.

She loved working in the kitchen and canning the produce she had raised in her garden. She was especially fond of her pets Brownie and Baby Boy. She spent hours doing crafts and making things. Her favorite time was spending time surrounded by her grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons Franklin Aubrey Jr. and Donnie Aubrey and a brother Jack Hendricks.

Leaving to cherish her memory are three daughters Eva Stephens (Warren), Patricia Meserves, Tina Kessinger McStoots (Jessie); son, Ronnie Aubrey (Shannon); sisters, Joanne Smith, Faye Hendricks Miller; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Hartford Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Hartford Funeral Home with burial in the Yelvington Cemetery in Maceo, Kentucky.
