Michael Len Culbertson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Len Culbertson, age 57, who departed this world on April 17, 2025, in Hartford, Kentucky. Born on June 28, 1967, in the same town, Michael was a beloved son of Bobby Eugene Culbertson and Juanita Faye Spinks Heifner. His journey through life was marked by resilience, passion, and an indomitable spirit.

Michael lived a life filled with adventure and cherished moments, raising his daughters, Megan Messamore (Chris) and Christina Cottrell (Tyler), and reveling in the joy brought by his four grandchildren: Layne and Layla Messamore, and Michael and Meggie Cottrell. He was a dedicated diesel mechanic before a tragic accident changed his course. However, it did not dampen his zest for life. Michael could often be found in his garage, tinkering with projects, sharing laughter and stories with his brother, Garlan "Eugene" Culbertson, or enjoying the thrill of fast Corvettes and the energy of loud music.

His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Michael's laughter, kindness, and love for his family will be sorely missed, yet fondly remembered by everyone whose life he touched.

The family will gather to honor Michael's life during visitation from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Hartford Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, with burial to occur in Oakwood Cemetery, where he will find his final rest.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hartford Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
