Vicki Lynn Leach

Vicki Lynn Leach, 64, of Hartford, Kentucky, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, May 2, 2026, after a long battle with brain cancer. Vicki was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, Mimi, and friend. Vicki was born on March 1, 1962, in Hartford, Kentucky, to Loran Leach and Meta June Brownd McBride. Besides her mother Meta June McBride, she is survived by her daughters, Brittney Starnes (Clint) of Hartford, Cati Joiner (Brandon) of Morgantown, Meta-Leigh Deweese (Tyler) of Rosine; her grandchildren, Blaine Starnes, Bricen Starnes, Trevor Joiner, Carson Joiner, Mia Young, Elliott Joiner and Bowen Fuqua; her brother, Bruce Leach (Adrienne) of West Virginia; a niece, Jessica Mikol (Justin) and nephew, Matthew Leach of Virginia. She is preceded in death by her father, Loran Leach, and stepfather, A. C. "Mac" McBride. 

Vicki's greatest joy was spending time with her precious grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, working in her yard with her flowers, making beautiful crafts, and listening to her favorite music. Vicki was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hartford and retired from the State of Kentucky in the Department of Community Based Services. At Vicki's request, we will not be holding a funeral service. Instead, we ask that her family and friends remember the happier times throughout her life. Her memory will carry on in the hearts of all those who loved her. Vicki will be so deeply missed.
