Virginia Boyd

Virginia M. Boyd, 102, of Owensboro, KY, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021. She was born in Ohio County on July 23, 1918 to the late Clyde and Helen Massie Moseley. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed doing word searches, puzzles and crocheting. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Stillie Anderson Boyd. Virginia is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great- nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Thursday, June 17, 2021at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and again on Thursday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
